- Today is the fourth eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational race of the season, held at the virtual Circuit of the Americas. For those participating, it will be a critical event to help prepare for Sunday's EchoPark Texas Grand Prix . Coverage begins at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports 1.
- NTT IndyCar Series teams are back out there for their second day of practice for the Indianapolis 500. RC Enerson will get a chance to complete Rookie Orientation starting at 11 a.m. That will not be televised, but the main practice coverage will be. That coverage begins at Noon on Peacock.
- Preparations for this weekend's action in Austin continue. If anything else of note breaks today, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

Around the World in Motorsports: May 18

- Logan Schuchart passed Carson Macedo on lap 11 Tuesday night at Bridgeport Motorsports Park. From there, he held off runs from Macedo and Donny Schatz to win his second World of Outlaws NoS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series A-main of the year. Macedo was second, then Anthony Macri, Schatz and Sheldon Haudenschild.
Through 24 of 83 races, Brad Sweet, who finished seventh Tuesday night in New Jersey, has a 68-point lead over David Gravel. Macedo is third in points, then Aaron Reutzel and Haudenschild.

| | Will Power Fastest in Indianapolis 500 Opening
Day Practice
Team Penske's Will Power was quickest overall in the first day of Indianapolis 500 practice Tuesday with a lap at 226.470 mph. Ryan Hunter-Reay was second, then Takuma Sato, Sage Karam and Conor Daly.

Penalized After Dover
NASCAR announced penalties for four different teams Tuesday after Sunday's Drydene 400. The highest finishing of those teams penalized was William Byron's No. 24, who ended up with one missing lug nut.

McLaren
McLaren announced Wednesday that Lando Norris has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the Woking-based organization for years to come. Terms were not announced.

Dominates in Inaugural COTA eRace
23XI Racing's Mitchell deJong swept into the lead early on and drove away from the pack to easily win the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series race at the virtual Circuit of the Americas Tuesday night. Jimmy Mullis was second,
then Graham Bowlin, Bobby Zalenski despite a first lap crash and Steven Wilson.

| | Jesse Iwuji Wins 3rd Pro Invitational Fan Vote
to Join Dale Earnhardt Jr, Clint Bowyer & NASCAR Cup Field
For the third consecutive time, Jesse Iwuji has won the Pro Invitational Fan Vote. As a result, he will be on the grid for tonight's eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational event at the virtual Circuit of the
Americas.
