- BMW Motorsports published an interview Thursday morning with Daniela Zanardi, wife of Alex Zanardi. The interview marks the first real update on Alex's condition in months.
He is currently in a rehab facility, undergoing training for both his brain and body. He cannot speak, but can communicate. He's been recovering from severe injuries suffered in a handbike race in Italy last year.
- Kyle Larson passed Lucas Wolfe with only a couple of laps to go Wednesday night at Port Royal Speedway, then held on to take another victory. Danny Dietrich was second, then veteran Lance Dewease, Wolfe and Rico Abreu.

- Today
has a full afternoon and evening of on-track activity at Watkins Glen International as IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Michelin Pilot Challenge and Prototype Challenge teams will all practice and qualify. The action starts at 1:05 p.m. and will go to sunset.

NASCAR teams are back at their shops, preparing for this weekend's action in Pocono as IMSA teams travel to Watkins Glen. If anything of note breaks, we'll have it for you at Frontstretch.

| | Trackhouse Racing Buys Chip Ganassi Racing’s NASCAR Operation
During a press conference at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Wednesday, Trackhouse Racing Team announced that they have purchased the NASCAR assets of Chip Ganassi Racing, including their two charters. They will run two Cup teams
in 2022 out of Ganassi's current shop.
