Longtime NASCAR and INDYCAR play-by-play commentator Bob Jenkins died Monday after a battle with brain cancer. He was 73.

Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Verizon 200 at the Brickyard will have 39 teams doing battle. Xfinity regulars AJ Allmendinger and Austin Cindric are back, while Rick Ware Racing hasn't indicated who will drive their No.

For Saturday's Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's road course, there are 44 teams entered for 36 starting spots. Ryan Eversley will attempt to make his Xfinity debut for JD Motorsports, while Spencer
Pumpelly will drive the No. 0 in place of Jeffrey Earnhardt. Kevin Harvick returns to BJ McLeod's No. 99, although the entry will likely be a Stewart-Haas car using McLeod's points.

Reaume Brothers Racing announced that they will field their own car for Indianapolis, minus any partnerships. Loris Hezemans will drive the No. 33 Chevrolet.
