- Teams continue to make preparations for this weekend's races at both Michigan International Speedway and World Wide Technology Raceway. The entry list for Friday's ARCA race at Michigan will likely be
released today. We'll have that and anything else that breaks at Frontstretch.

Around the World in Motorsports: Aug. 16-17

- SportsCar365.com is reporting that Kyle Tilley has opted out of this weekend's 24 Hours of Le Mans. Based on Tilley's tweets responding to this article, it appears that the move is due to the same injury that forced
him to miss the Cup and Xfinity races last weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He will be replaced in the IDEC Sport/Era Motorsport-run No. 17 ORECA 07-Gibson by former Rebellion Racing driver Thomas Laurent. Laurent will share the car with Ryan Dalziel and Dwight Merriman, who won in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's LMP2 class back on Aug. 1 at Road America.

For Sunday's 400-mile race at Michigan International Speedway, there are 37 cars entered. The only driver change among the cars entered is BJ McLeod returning to the Live Fast No. 78.

For Saturday's Xfinity Series race in Michigan, there are 41 teams entered. The No. 13 from MBM Motorsports will likely be excluded. The road racing experts are out, replaced by regulars. Tyler Reddick will be
back with Our Motorsports, while Colin Garrett rejoins Sam Hunt Racing.

Hattori Racing Enterprises announced Monday that Bubba Wallace will drive the No. 61 Toyota in Saturday's New Holland 250 at Michigan. It will be his first Xfinity Series start since 2017.
