- The NextGen test continues on the ROVAL at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The action runs until 7 p.m. and is being livestreamed on NASCAR's YouTube channel. Jacques Villeneuve, who missed Monday's testing, will be in the Team Hezeberg No. 27 today. We'll have any news that breaks for you at Frontstretch.

Around the World in Motorsports: Oct. 11-12

- The NextGen test began Monday and saw teams spending much of the day making laps and discovering issues. A series of vibrations were reported in the garage. Chris Buescher and Ross Chastain both had minor on-track incidents. Due to the unofficial nature of the test, there are lap times available, but they included laps that would be disallowed in official sessions.
They were faster than the laps turned in Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400k.

At the NextGen test at Charlotte Motor Speedway Monday, NASCAR announced horsepower and spoiler height specs for the 2022 season. The cars will have less horsepower and more spoiler at road courses and short tracks next
year.

Jeb Burton revealed Monday to Frontstretch's own Michael Massie that he will not be back in Kaulig Racing's No. 10 Chevrolet in 2022.
