- IMSA sent a memo to all participants Tuesday morning about Friday's announcement from the Biden Administration that everyone entering the United States, either by land, sea or air, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 starting on Nov. 8. The memo does not require IMSA members to be fully vaccinated, but does suggest that anyone that isn't make sure their existing travel
waivers are fully up to date and get in the country prior to Nov. 8. In addition, it also states to assume that the waivers will no longer work after that date.
In addition, those who are flying out of the country after the race (drivers, crewmembers, manufacturer representatives, etc.) will have to have a negative COVID-19 test within three days of departure in order to leave the country after the Motul Petit Le Mans. IMSA will make PCR testing available for anyone in the paddock that needs it at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
